Taeyoung Lee, a graduate student I co-advise with N. Harris McClamroch, was a finalist for the Bavarian Graduate School of Computational Engineering (BGCE) Computational Science and Engineering Student Paper Prize, and presented his work entitled Computational Geometric Mechanics, Control, and Estimation of Rigid Bodies on Lie Groups at the CSE Student Prize Minisymposium (MS 83 and 92) at the SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering on Thursday, February 22, 2007, in Costa Mesa, CA.
